Benjamin Bouchard
I studied Water Engineering at Université Laval from 2014 to 2024, first as an undergraduate student and then as a Master’s and PhD student in Professor Daniel Nadeau’s group. My doctoral project focused on the impact of the physical properties of the snowpack on hydrological processes in boreal environments. I am now a postdoctoral researcher in the Meteorological Research Division at Environment and Climate Change Canada. As part of my work with the HydroNord team, I am interested in better understanding how atmospheric river conditions influence ice-jam flooding in Quebec.
